The Ask Mickeko Thread!

The Ask Mickeko Thread!

Ask me anything, I answer all questions (*).

You may get a stupid answer, an incorrect answer, or maybe even the RIGHT answer... Who knows...

Any answer given that is true and correct (as far as I know or in my opinion where applicable) will be marked with a  :fuzzy: .

(*) - Exceptions: Personal questions or any other questions I don't feel like answering may not be answered. Being polite might help in these cases...:P

If this is the "Ask Mickecko" thread, why do others feel the need to answer questions intended for you?

Perhaps they believe I need some assistance handling the workload, or I'm just full of crap and they want to add their few cents... I don't really mind, I answer the questions, no matter if they've been answered before. I see things different anyway. :D

Why do you keep using my :fuzzy: icon?

Not logical...

Given how many questions you actually answer, x_x would be more appropriate...

I can't use a symbol that makes logical sense, obviously. :D

Logic? Who mentioned logic?

Fuzzy

BTW,

Is it 'The Ask Mickeko Thread!' or 'Ask! Mickeko, Ask!' thread?

Is it 'The Ask Mickeko Thread!' or 'Ask! Mickeko, Ask!' thread?

It has its own life. It's a thread that simply is. While it may be the ask mickeko thread, it could also be a bunch of monkeys writing the complete works of Shakespeare. :D

Will the current financial crisis make corporate big wigs wake up to the fact that greed and screwing the consumer does not work?

Congrats on your promotion, Mick

What offers(treat/party) do you have for us on your promotion?...

Can monkeys make skins?

Put a bunch of monkies in a room with skinstudio professional and wait... Sooner or later (somewhere around 15 minutes) they'll have produced the complete works of mickeko. Replace the monkies with Zebras, and you'll end up with a complete Zubaz portfolio. :D

Only when "regular Joe" wake up and realise greed and screwing people does not work. As far as I've seen, a crisis just makes greed worse.

As for the treat/party, I'll boldly reply where a huge lot of others have replied before, how's that? :D

Are the Titular Digits real?..  (As a reference, see the movie "The Number 23")...

I've wondered and couldn't find a direct response to them on the net.  I knew mickeko would know, so I wanted to ask here..  lol

I've never heard anyone reference imaginary numbers that way, so I have to say it's plausible. Keep in mind that that kind of maths can be used to turn dog turds to gold if applied properly, which possibly indicates that it's nothing but utter nonsense. :P

I don't think the proper term for this is "titular digits", sounds more like it's a reference to the number 23 in the movie title.

Search for numerology and you'll find alot more interesting tidbits about the phenomenon. :P

Ah, good suggestion.  Thank you!! :)

Wouldn't happen to know what is the best beer to accomodate Guinness while making a Black & Tan would you?  Then I believe my life long question list is full-filled  (for now) lol.

When I lived in the UK, Guinness and Whitbread Tankard made a pretty good Black n' Tan.

Here in Oz, tho, I used to make Black n' Tan's with home brewed John Bull Best Bitter and Guinness. :)

. As far as I've seen, a crisis just makes greed worse.

That's about the strength of it.... I'm seeing groceries going up $10 - $15 per week, Aussie banks refusing to pass on official interest rate cuts, and corporations screwing workers to protect the high rollers jobs, so yeah, greed is still rampant among them even in dire economic times.

Hoegaarden Wit is my suggestion. I don't drink that much beer though, so I may be entirely off base here. (I've never tried anything like it, so I'm just guessing, hehe)

Could always research it HERE too. :D

Here's an answer to a random question I found floating around in the metaverse... Yes, it applies to YOU. It's an answer to something you're wondering about.

Here goes,

The answer:

It's not really something you can do anything about at the moment. You have the solution, but it's securely locked up within you. When you're ready, the answer will come. Actually the answer is within this post too. If you don't see it, you're not ready for it and chances are that you never will be. I wouldn't worry about it though, it'll sort out somehow. It may not be as you expect it, but it'll likely turn out ok. Billions of people face issues every day, and most of them survive to see another day. The odds are on your side. (Ofcourse, trying to play a chickenrace with a truck would make the odds very much against you, don't forget your common sense)

(I suppose I could just have written BUMP! I'm bored, where's the questions, but it would have been a bit thin ;) )

Geese fly in a "V" formation.

Why is one side always longer than the other side?

If you were to get drunk in a country where the drinking limit is under 21 and went to the states and were still over the limit, could they arrest you for underage drinking even though you did not do the drinking in the states?

Did Noah have woodpeckers on the Ark?....and if so...where did he keep them...?

Are children who act in "R" rated movies allowed to see them?

It's just the regular traffic jam.

None of them, they all belong to the theatre.

Nope. The man eating grey klungbrook would eat you long before you reach the centre.

It looks more appealing on the bread that way.

"The Lone Ranger had nobody to talk to if he was a lone ranger," Striker says. "So it was suggested they create a sidekick for TLR. Script 11 introduced Tonto. And [he] was developed solely for the purpose of giving the Lone Ranger someone to talk to."

There you have it. :fuzzy:

No they can't, unless it's illegal for a minor to actually be drunk. Ofcourse, if they take the car home from the airport, they can obviously be charged for drunk driving.  :fuzzy:

Bird cages tend to be efficient... And anything is possible in fiction anyway, so it's quite a moot questions. :D

As for the children, I assume it's the same thing as for any child. Their parents set the terms on whether they see a movie or not, not the rating.

Close,but no cigar.

The correct answer is: Because there are more geese on that side.
