Are you saying we should consider you an exceptional player and you are getting better?
Or are you saying you aren't very good but are trying to get better?

BUT he doesn't have time to quibble over these details! His 8th grade English teacher has put a massive bounty on him! If he can't find the protection of a clan quickly, the next pirate raid will finish him for sure!

OK - being a little serious
Cykur is leaving Sins for an unknown period (maybe forever). He is in DT (Dream Team). I'm not in a clan. DT and Brothers in Arms ([_]) are the two clan generally considered the most skilled. Most of the others have some skill, but are not as strong, or are more casual in their approach.
There are a couple of forums posts showing the top players online (as rated by other top members). DT and [_] members are heavily featured.

And even though I ask as many as i can to join RG, it isn't half as easy as it sounds.
Over the last three people that tried to get into RG, only one made it.

To join, you will have to show that you are usefull to RG, the most common way is to show you have a usefull skill, such as modding, skill at sins, artwork, ect....
We are mostly on attitude an activity, but we do appreciate skill.
The clans in Homeworld considered us a joke as well, but they are now all dead, and we are still alive and having a blast.

Rexan must say that it is your choose to go in what clan you want the best way to do is chat with members play with then and then choose an clan who's getting cloose on what you want so i say just not to jump in an clan after you readed an post you have to find it out by yourself thats the best way of joining an clan

I am the only RGer who does. I was simply giving more examples.
Anyway, hope you find a clan that suites you, even if it isn't RG.

What logon do you use in Sins? Have you faced any of the acknowledged skilled players to validate this claim? (No offence, just that a lot of people claim to be skilled when they start playing MP because they can beat the AI on hard (or even unfair 
), but learn the hardway that MP is a couple of steps up again and can be brutal for first time you go online)
The best way to join a clan is, very simply, to get to know and to befriend other players who are in clans. Play lots of games over Ironclad Online and establish a reputation for good sportsmanship, camraderie, and skilled play. The best way to join a clan is when you're already friends with the people in the clan.
Have ta say, like the topic. Helps the New comers get a better feel for the crowd.

The point I want to make here (without wanting to desuade people from playing MP and looking to join a clan) is that the experienced players basically want to make sure they know what they are facing so the teams aren't really unbalanced as that isn't fun for anyone. Hence why the more competitive clans won't let you just join. They want to gauge your skill first
