Fences interferes with DesktopX's wallpaper

Does anyone have a workaround?

Impulse added a program called Fences to its lineup when I bought Object Desktop.  The program is very good but it is conflicting with DesktopX.  Any scripts that involve the changing of wallpaper will not work with Fences active.  I geuss this has something to do with the "hide desktop icons" feature which is required to make Fences work.  I am wondering if anyone else has seen this issue and if there is a work around or perhaps an update which can fix it.  Thanks!

This appears to be a known issue. I've not been able to find any work around to this issue on the fourms. Hopefully it will be resolved soon. Some wallpaper switchers (Desktoptopia) work without a problem but using the windows SDK function IActiveDesktop:SetWallpaper() doesn't work. Hopefully someone on the Fences team can answer this question?!?

This issue is also present in the Virtual Desktops application. When you have it try to change the wallpaper of the virtual desktop, it also conflicts with Fences.

Just my .02 - since no one ever reads these posts, I'm betting that this issue will continue until someone gets mad enough to contact Stardock Support. (yes mad, not angry - you have to be mad to contact Stardock Support) I mean what are they supposed to say, "Thank you for contacting us. Your question/issue/concern will be handled in the order in which it was received. Estimated wait queue is 2 years. Thank you for using Stardock Software, and have a great day. Click."

I really love Stardock Software, but they have gotten so big, they seem to forget about what made them great in the first place. Sorry, this post wasn't meant to be a rant, but I have been slowly going crazy over the lack of response. As soon as I started to post, it just sort of came out. Again - forgive my madness.

It also interferes with Natural Desktop's wallpapers

on the other hand it doesn't seem to screw as much with SDV's other wall as just a normal 'hide the desktop icons' did

hmm.. I also get the same conflict between fences and Dreams. Can't get a Dream to work without first uninstalling fences.
