ok i love this game the graphics are nice and they really put the game into a feeling like im coming to kick ur ass but i still dont understand how to get a large fleet the population lv is too small and iv done everything to incress it iv just havent had luck in gettting the fleet i want my last game i conquered 4 planets and i thought i would have a fleet size that would be good but it still wasent do i need to take more planets or research send me a tell or a link to a vid that would help me get the general idea of the starting phrase of the game or a pm would work too help would be greatly appreceated

You have to build reserach facilities and then research Fleet logistics.  The top one is for capital ship slot; the bottom is for supply.

in other news...there are 4 guided tutorials that ship with the game. i recommend playing through them. you'll learn not just nuts and bolts like how to research fleet logistics upgrades, but also learn some of the finer points of the interface and other useful things.

Be careful when upgrading fleet logistics.  Each logistic upgrade will take a significant amount of your economy and there's no going back to the previous level.
