No GUI-Start Problem!!!!

I remove the checkmark...after reboot its there AGAIN!

Problems, Problems, Problems....

As i told in another thread (Dreamscapes for XP does not work) i own now the Object Desktop.

I have a Dual-Boot-System... one is XOSP3...the other is VISTA SP1.

Both work correct.

Now in Vista i have the following Problem:

A while ago i added a checkmark in msconfig at "No GUI-Start"

Now that i have Bootskin Pro the first thing i did was going into msconfig and REMOVED this checkmark!!

Then it said:"System has to reboot!"

I did that, to make sure i can configure Bootskin correct after the next start.

But when the system came up i wanted to control IF the checkmark is really gone. It WAS`NT!

I removed it again.... but this time i did NOT reboot as required.

I went to Bootskin and choosed "ORANGE NEBULA". It said correct: "Orange Nebula has been applied!"

Then i did another Reboot.... but whilest booting there was only that stillimage... no Orange Nebula!

I went back to msconfig... couldnt believe it: There was the damned Checkmark again!

Again i removed the checkmark.... and rebooted. When coming up... you name it... the checkmark was there again!

Now dear Friends AND Stardockers: Is there may be a Registry-Entry i can manipulate to get that checkmarl away????

I want to enjoy my Bootskin PRO!

Hope deeply for some help.....

Yours, Revanito

BootSkin Pro sets the No GUI Boot flag to being checked.  This is necessary to see the BootSkins at all.  When the No GUI Boot flag is unchecked, you get the standard Vista boot screen.
