It seems the system doesn't count how many demigods in each team before launching.
Always to my advantage, I've played almost 10 such unbalanced games and never been on the minority side.
Same here. I would say that as much as 50% of the games I've played were against fewer or, even worse, no opponent.
Really fun game when it does work though.
I just "lost" a game which we were 3v0 because it was slaugther mode, no one to kill and my npc buddies kept dying 
Of course, this problem should be fixed by release, but meantime:
When you get into a game like that the only way to win is to kill the enemy citadel. It has ugly thorns though, so you want to make sure you don't capture enemy portals so that you can level off the grunts enough to survive the backlash. Don't bother with your major PK nukes, just invest in stats and health and try to get into the enemy base while your allies are still destroying towers so you can win.
I believe I finally have this problem fixed. However, just to note, it will be possible to have matches where it is 3v2 or 4v2 depending on the skill level of the players involved.
But you definitely shouldn't see the problem where there wasnt any players on the other team.
i don't think skill should be involved when certain demigod combinations can own ex:i was just in a game that was 3v2(me on the 2) and of course me and my ally are both the same hero (torchbearer) and the enemy team had rook+sedna+regulus, when they grouped up and fought us not much we could do aside from staying and dying or running away and dying. not saying it's always like that but it's happened to me in alot of my games. Maybe make an improved AI that can even out matches, prefferably one that wont die in the first 2 minutes of game and feed throughout.
