Hey, glad to see you in sins clan scene.
I am the leader and founder of the Rebel Genius clan.
I originaly started RG about three years ago (almost four now) in homeworld, now we've expanded into sins, and eve.
We are more based on attitude than skill, though don't think that makes it easy to join.
also, we use a mod called the DOME mod quite a bit, it is a mod that adds a few extra game mods to sins (such as Capture the flag) and make sthe games to last around thirty minutes, but makes them very fun.

What you could do is play with people who have clan tags on and get to know them and become friends with them. IMHO, that's the best way to join a clan.
hey evil.. ya.. capture the flag isnt my thing.. and i havent had good luck with mods.. but thanks for the offer.. ill consider it..
The RG clan is IN NO WAY obliged to use the mod, the mod is simply a gaming alternative for those who are interested in it! You can join RG...and you won'T be forced to use mod unless you want to!

We like to use teh mod, but by no way is it a requirment to be RG.
If I had the time, I'd love to play some non-Dome games. And I am sure the other RG do as well.
Thing about RG is that I almost NEVER see any RG tags on ICO, which makes me wonder whether they'll ever be available for competitive matches (which is the purpose, at least the traditional purpose, of clans).
Check out the [IE] forum! We play other clans, have our own fun PUGs and ladders and against each other, and help everyone else get better at the game. I'm pretty active myself, and you can PM darthcadeusmorgan if you wanna join. We have 11 people and counting (by my last check) and I'm sure you would be a welcome addition!

Jixra, I know what your talking about.
That is why we rely heavitly on the dome, most of us are College students, and don't have time for full length games without signifcant planning in advance.
Again, that is why the DOME is so important to RG. With it, I can get many more games in than I can with normal sins.
you can always try to join the -ISN- i as the leader of the -ISN- must say that we are short on members and are ready to welcome new members
