Instant defeat: Galaxy Forge Map

HELP!!!!!

Ok, so I take the time to build up a decent ten player map. I get all of my players, descriptions and all the other goodies in place. The map shows up in the Sins map list, but when it loads it says I have been defeated! I am baffled! I have tried modelling my map after the stock ones, but it doesn't fix the issue. I would appreciate any info as to what I am doing wrong! (probably something obvious) Thanks for your time! ^_^

Hey AzteCJesteR,

1 of 2 things is probably happening.

Either you're putting it in the wrong place, or you haven't given everybody a home planet.  I'm going to guess it's the first.

Check reply #10 in this thread for more detailed info on where it goes.

We're going to simplify this soon so it's a lot easier to work with.

Cheers

Did you check that reply, Mooster?  It gives the location for vanilla sins too.

I'm running into the same problem: instant defeat for GalaxyForge3 maps :-(

I placed the files correctly and added them to the galaxy.manifest (the original one in the game's folder and those of the mods).

For some of the original maps I just changed starting resources, bonus and artifact density, which doesn't cause problems. What does???

you give a too general answer, all of my players have a home world since i used the default maps to create it, and i know i put it in the right place and I have checked it from a txt point of view and a galaxyforge point of view, both says that i have a homeworld for all

each player in the edit/players table MUST have a starting home planet.

if you read in a map designer map then I suggest deleteing any players that do not have a home planet for the galforge version.
