How can I see, which AI is in which alliance in game?

Hi, I have just started a game and have seen, that several AI players combined an attack to one of my planets. I couldn't understand, why all ai players act together against me, because the game was in an early stage and it is in my opion impossible to form alliances or even peace treaties. 

Now my question: How can I see in game the treaties of the several alliances. Civ IV has a wheel, where I could see in colored lines the treaties of all players.

well, there's way number one: look at their ships.  if they are shooting at each other, they are at war.  if not, they got at least a cease fire.

Yep, it was a design decision made early on to not show AI alliances. Have to gather all your info from observing and scouting :)

Another really easy way to tell is if one AI's culture is on another's planet, but the planet is not losing loyalty.
