My allies left is 2v1 Um.. Now what?

This has happened a couple games im leading the game ally pulls out his router or something and im left against 2 people generally i have 1st advantage leading game but i start slowly start losing just because i have to split fleet and i generally at first thats good enough to beat their fleets but they don't have to split and eventually 1 planet at a time i lose.

Soo... My questions is how can i win? I know i probably could do it but i don't just want to spam rep bays maybe a couple SBs and camp i want to win. So how do the pro's handle it? :grin:

Prior to v1.15, this suggestion would be laughable at best.  However, the new AI is pretty decent, and will put up a good fight.  Use the AI, and you will be rewarded.  Also, setting up a SB with some defenses and 3 PJIs at a choke point should do wonders for you if your fleet is tied up else where.

well, it would seem to me that the longer it takes, the more of a disadvantage you are, because if you want to match fleet size, you will have to go into higher fleet research. it would mean that eventually they would just outproduce you. then, two players can be at more places at the same time, do more micro, etc. I'd probably suck too much to stand a chance in such a situation, but what I would at least try to do is fortify against one player as much as possible and try to take out the other as fast as possible. splitting fleet and stalling at both ends will lose me anyway in the end.

keep fighting and make them pay for every inch SB's Repair bays hangers Turrets then build Novalith cannon send scouts out find the fleet then NUKE IT!!!!!! then move in for the kill on the planet take it bit by bit then and some nukes to the rear to break up the trade routes ect slow there ecomony down so you can attack either that or you can surrender

yeah the AI taking over would be best, plus I would try investing in a decent defense like star bases and mine fields (even if all they do is slow the enemmy down) if your careful enough about it they can really help
