i need some help

What buttons, and where? something you are making?

What is the DesktopX item you downloaded, is it a Theme, Object, Widget or Gadget?  What is the name of it?

All the menus are drag and drop.just open the internet menu,drag your IE,FF or whatever shortcut onto it and repeat for any others you want.Same goes for all the other menus and shortcuts.Then r-click on the DX icon in your sys tray and select save theme. If you use a theme he uploaded with the shortcuts already on them,just click on the shortcut icon while holding down Ctrl and drag them off,then put yours on.

Another tip for using PDJ's themes.

Create 8 folders and name them the same as the buttons you see on the top dock.

Put copies of your shortcuts into their corresponding folders.

Put these folders into another folder named DX Shortcuts or something similar.

Put this folder where you want.(mine's in Documents)

Open each menu and r-click on its name(Internet,Graphics,etc.)

Select set target and browse to the folder tha matches the menu.Then click ok.

Now when you open the menu and click on the name,it will go to that folder.This is handy if you have more shortcuts than will fit into the menu.

You are all set to go with most of PDJ's themes with this set-up.
