Nice Screen Shots.
too bad my game doesnt look that good.
What game are you playing?![]()
Well I'm actually playing the game instead of setting up my screen for screen shots.
Anyone who wants to take great screenshots can turn on the cinematic button at the top of the interface and 'ctrl+shift+z' for a full clean screen ;) Don't forget to turn up your texture settings and bloom if your system can handle them!
Well... I actually playing COMPETITOR product v1...
EA rushed it...
They didn't do all to well...
EA still is squeezing the last few drops (of patience) from CNC fans (plus their money).
EA's lame "Battlecast Primetime" and "Command School"
Combined with RA3 a.k.a. World of Boobcraft!
TW/KW a.k.a. gothic wannabe
G/ZH a.k.a. kill arabs
YR a.k.a. Lets all screw the Russians over: again!
Money a.k.a. EA's only concern for.
EDIT: dunno why I posted that.
@Devs: Could you make the cursor appear in normal screenshots, please? Right no it's not captured making it harder to take screenshots of bugs etc. where you wanna point sth. out.
The cinematic mode is for the awesome-uber-cool looking screenshots. WOW! ![]()
perhaps actually screenshots rather than concept art ![]()
Those are actual screenshots. ![]()
Really, they looked like they are graphically altered
One thing i notice is that there are no white dots on the edges of ships. For some reason i get them with max detail. Otherwise, that is how my game looks ![]()
If I remember right, to fix those you had to disable forced anti-aliasing in your driver control panel.. just do a google for "white artifact" and restrict it to the Sins forums and you should get the thread.
Found the thread, problem solved and image quality got even better ![]()
Im just worried what'll happen to framerate in massive battles with forced 8x AA...
Oh come on, that's not how mines look in-game. They're much farther apart. ![]()
Pretty awesome screens, though! I think I'll use the Marza as wallpaper.
Those are all in-game screenshots with all graphic settings set to maximum. There are no touchups - everything is in the game. Bascially we just set up a scene, let it play out and take pictures!
***TIP*** turn on the camera roll (twist) for dramatic angles!
Sins is one of the prettiest games i've seen, and i thought that even before the graphical enhancements ![]()
The marza screenshot is simply breattaking!
You feel is strength and his launchers look SO SCARY!!!!!! Lets hope its only level 1 ![]()
So, is this with highest settings on everything? anti-aliasing on or off?
Everything on, and don't forget bloom.
system spec and frame rate at the moment of screen shot?
Some high resolution SINS wallpapers would be cool ![]()
This game looks unbelievable in action. Sometimes during epic battles my jaw hits the desk.
Sweet, thanks had no clue how to get a clean screan till now. Always wondered if you could. Thanks +1
Question while we are talking graphics....What is Bump??? I have my settings at Highest everything except Bump, cuz I have no idea what it is.
These are some of the shots Im getting with my current settings:
Also love9sick, I have some wallpapers that are in the same settings as those pictures above. Thought they are just of TEC and nothing grand. But they are sometime. If your interested https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/341073
Bump mapping gives a slight 3d-ish look to textures by making them bumpy!
For example: http://www.zanir.szm.sk/dx/obrazky/010_DOT3_bump_mapping_big.jpg
If you turn it up and zoom in really close on your ships, you'll also see their hulls are not marble smooth anymore. Particularly noticeable on a ship like the Jarrasul.
Ah, sweet!!!! Learned 2 things today!!!!!!
Bump is when your graphics get funky and move to the groove.
