Our Son, Milton Hershey

Today our son Ryan’s class had a “Wax Museum”.  They all dressed the part of a historical person and gave a one minute speech whenever a person came up and pushed their “button”.  Ryan was Milton Hershey and was very popular :)

That is so cool, he looks pretty realistic too!  His look reminds me of our visit to the Science Museum last year, he reminds me of some of those statues/figures that we saw looking so human! Tell him good job!

Thanks foreverserenity!  His teacher said his pose was the best of the class.  He's quite a character.  I love that kid!

Thanks.  We got the hat and mustache at a party supply store, the shirt from a children's resale shop, he had a tie and he folded up my kitchen apron to fit him.

What a great idea

It really was.  I never knew that Hershey had 5 failed candy businesses before his caramel business lead to fortune and his invention of milk chocolate lead to fame.

He said there were lots of kids trying to steal his chocolate.  At the end of the day he handed out Hersheys kisses to the students and gave half of his big chocolate bar to his teacher.  He even shared a little piece with his sister.
