(Fixed!! Thank You) Need Help Please Converting Mesh files to Text Please

(I used to remember how but i forgot, sorry, silly of me)

Hi,

Can you convert .mesh files using convertdata? I did something to convert them several months ago, haha, but now i forgot, is that silly or what?  Sorry, but im trying to convert 1.12 binary .mesh to text (so as to use the resize tool on them)  :)

Beta 2 kept crashing, so i am back at 1.12 for now until things smooth out.

Thank you Harpo but i havent had a chance to try them yet. I'm at school and wont be able to try until later, but am crossing my fingers and hoping. I thought it was something like the .net thing last time. But i re-installed .net 3.5 and still nothing on the convertdata. I also tried the gui tool, but it says its used only for entity's and brushes for now, this was posted i think in november, no update on Newboerg's too since then that i know of.

Anyway, thank you for the help, i will look things up and give them a try and see what happens, i will get back to you and let you know, thanks very very much for the help and the time and the hard work looking up all those threads!!!   :)

AFAIK the Reference data in the forge tools should contain the mesh files in text already?

teal I used firefox and the multitab facility & just read the thead titles & if it looked like it might be related I opened in a new tab then scanned th thread to confirm it's relevence and OLNY copied the ones I thought relevent

Yeah I just double checked and the Reference data has the mesh files in text ;)

Thank you Annatar!!  :)  I am downloading it now, that and the update on Entrenchment and a re-install on impulse. And then off to bed, school tomorrow and a long day, dont we all have them, thank you again for the nice help, and Harpo too.  :)  Do you still hang out with Chico and chase the girls and honk you horn instead of talking?  Although your typing is wonderful!!!   :)
