Make what you like.

Advertise your personal gallery elsewhere if you want.

Keep on keeping on.  :)

there are none in your personal gallery to check out..... :\

Maybe put varying sizes in the file for different resolutions? The desktop icons need to be seen easily when the wallpaper is used. Those are two things I know that help.

thanks Zubaz.....the Recent Skins gallery was only showing up the two dreams for me before....

loukeeya...for my 2 cents......they are very busy for wallpapers.....the bubble ones particularly.....and the collage ones have some nice images...but look cluttered for a desktop....and a little too bright....which also comes down to personal taste...perhaps try keeping a central image....and have a calm area around the edges for icons....docks etc...I'm also not keen on the black top and bottom border....looks sort of choppy on your desktop.

The one I think was best is 'I believe'....and the railway lines in the fog were good captures...and would make a nice wall....'silv again' would have been better without the black top/bottom strips...

Anyway, its looks like you have fun making them....keep at it....and remember...with few exceptions, we all get rejected from the wall gallery....just a matter of looking at the gallery...and seeing what works...and why...

good luck.... :)

loukeeya, if it wasn't for your topic, I never would have discovered your awesome work, I'd rate it5* they are simply breath-taking! :)

I'd have to also say too busy for wallpapers, a good wallpaper should compliment the work area not detract & distract.

V, not all of them are like that though, the balloon one maybe, but it looks awesome!! especially for a holiday wall or something, but there are some really excellent subtle walls in there too :)

Just my 2c TG, when someone asks for critique, I try to be honest.

People are always going to vary on their interpretation of what is and isn't a good wallpaper.

Best advice I can give.. is keep on truckin.. some people go years without getting anything accepted.

C'est la 'V' |-)

True V:inlove:

I just really dig that alien one, [is a huge X-Files fan] it looks wicked!!

Railway line and Railway line2 are quite good imo. They'd look very good with Vienna, and other gray skins.

That said, Louise...If you wish to ask the reason for rejection, pm a Moderator. I can't imagine he/she wouldn't answer.

V is correct as is Zubaz: Make the wall for yourself. Be extremely critical, and when ready...submit it.

Good luck!
