Screwing With People Can Be Fun

I am a few miles from my first delivery destination in CA. I got here pretty early tiday and decided that I wanted to go have a cold beer. Not a single bar in sight so I did a little searching and between the internet and my GPS I chose a place just a couple of miles from the truck stop.

Finding a cab proved to be a problem as both of the ones listed on the net for this town turned out to be out of business but a call to the bar I wanted to visit provided a phone numder for a cab service that hadn't yet made the Yellow Pages.

I took my e-cigarette rig with me expecting to not be allowed to smoke a normal "analog" cigarette in the place seeing as I am in the hotbed of political correctness known as California. Turns out that I had chosen a small, slightly grungy, local bar that just didn't give a shit about the whole smoking ban thing and had ashtrays on the bar for those so inclined.

I talked to the barkeep and the guy who owned the place (a long haired hippy type-not that that's a bad thing), commenting on how surprised I was to find a bar in CA that would let you smoke, and told them I had come in with my e-smoke prepared to enjoy myself despite the local laws. They were fascinated by the electronic cigarette as were many of my fellow patrons, and I found myself demostrating it several times.

There were still some people who I was able to screw with using the e-cig and it proved to be a lot of fun. As they do not burn they produce no heat even though the end glows orange (LED) so while it looks like a normal cig burning (sans smoke) I can just stick it in my shirt pocket without any harm at all. One chick thought I was nuts putting a lit ciggie in my shirt pocket like that. I didn't correct her.

I didn't stay long in the place as my cash is precious right now, but the short time I did spend there relaxed me, entertained me, and gave me the chance to screw with a few people's heads that probably needed adjustment anyway.

I also came up with what I think may be a pretty damn good business idea but I'll save comment on that until I do some more research. All I can say now is that if interest turns out as good as I suspect I may be on to something very profitable.
