Ironclad Online Network Errors

I just got the game today, the day after christmas, and attempted to create an account. I entered my username and password, then confirmed the password and entered the code. It said that i couldnt connect to ironclad online. Afterwards I navigated to the updates tab and got redirected to the website and registered an account and downloaded an update. i used that account and i still couldnt connect because of a network problem. Any advice?

Try installing or reinstalling IMPULSE and updating SINS from there.  Be sure to execute the IMPULSE.exe programe after it downloads as it may be going to your temporary folder

I got the same thing and first tried well over a week ago.  When 1st creating ICO account, get "disconnected from ironclad online" after entering name, password, and CD Key.  downloaded updates.  PC requirements fine, and residential gateway/Windows Vista walls are temporarily open.

i got the same problem as all of ya.v_v it really stinks that i was so exited about this game if is so complicated to make an account. is it really worth it?

I had the same problem. But i fixed it, you have to have impulse on your computer which will check/update your version of sins. Make a SEPERATE acount for impulse. Then when it asks you to register your game typ in your Serial number of your game( cd key) before you acept the info on IMPULSE pop in your copy and the menue will come up play/ ect.. ect.. NOT RUNNING THE GAME the menue before the game starts to run it will say update serial type in your serial and make sure it acepts it. THEN fill out or finish Impulse your key then should be acepted. finally.. Then you can update your game off of impulse to the current version enjoy

I got this game for Christmas, too. I really do enjoy it, but you can only get so much satisfaction from pounding AI players into space dust. So I decided to try and make myself an account to play online. I did all the steps you did and when I clicked accept, it said I was disconnected. No matter what day/time I try to get this to work, it wont. SOMEONE needs to come up with an easier way to get on multiplayer, because I know this is not the only post with this problem... so why the hell hasnt Stardock fixed it yet??
