Unfortunately no.  I would hit up the support guys with a detailed description.  The best you're going to get right now is version 1.05.

However, they are working on some type of e-mail registration and executable patching thingy that will allow people without Impulse/internet to patch the game. In a neat way, I mean, as they can already do it now by installing the game on a computer that has Impulse/internet, patching it, then carrying the game files over to the target machine by a flash stick or a DVD or whatever.

You can just use stardock central instead. Google should be able to tell you where to find it.

SDC is no longer being updated with the latest versions. 1.1 and on are only on Impulse.

whatever he was saying pirates do release patches,  whilst u probably won't find an .exe to do all the work for you, someone probably already uploaded  the v1.1 SoaSE folder :annoyed:

but really, only use piracy if u got a legal (legal as in paid money for it on the LEGAL market) copy

when you cant get stuff to work write inform people about the problem on the forums  detailing "as in what you see is happening and think is going wrong"  reinstall first "you can templorary keep saves in a different folder them put them back later"  if reinstall doesnt work and people on the forums are clueless,   then yeah  i guess ít's fair enough

to the dev who removed Madocchi's text  dunno what he wrote, but as long as  paid "i know its hard to verify" using a pirate-based FIX "either templorary or permanent" isnt wrong... is it? "id do it anyways if it wasnt...  but thats just me taking the matter into own hands b4 getting screwed over.. "rather you then me" is the term us humans use these days i believe:|

I have i legit copy and i would not get a updat in a dubeus way, it a matter of princeble. my problem is that you need net 2.0(which need Xpsp2) to run impols and right now i can't update my desktop(runing XpSP1) do to the fact that it crashs it.

Never ever never ever never update your Windows XP to a new service pack. Never ever do that. Always download all the updates and service packs and format your install. Seriously. I've seen such ridiculous things that result from updating an existing XP with a service pack that you wouldn't believe. Heck, I've experienced one, too! Way back when SP1 came out, I made the mistake of updating my XP instead of just formatting it and reinstalling everything. Among the things it seriously FUBARed are my internet connection, which somehow got bridged with the printer port, graphics card drivers(it somehow believed I had some nVidia card for some reason, while I had an ATI 9600 XT), and remapped all my drive letters other than C:.

So the lesson here is: never update. Format.

Have an Windows XP SP2 installation disk. Failing that, have a Windows XP SP1 installation disk and the full SP 2 somewhere safe, like on a CD or a different partition. Failing that, have a Windows XP installation disk and both SPs somewhere safe, like on a CD or a different partition. Install in logical order. Apply the usual firewall/antivirus/antispyware. Dance the jigg.
