Voodoo Extreme has another vote going on for the 2008 Game of the Year.  There is quite list of games on there, but once again, Sins of a Solar Empire has been nominated and now it’s time to vote!

Alas, this was a busy year for really good games and when you account for all genres, I don't think Sins can win. It's still way more of niche game than the current lead (Fallout 3). Voted for Sins, though, because I spent the most time on it this year :)

Voted for Sins again but I fully expect for FO3 to win. Lets hopes Sins can place in a respectable top three slot. It is neat however that it is listed on all the GotY selections to date.

Does people even care about GotY awardS anymore? It's been getting worse every year, with every self-proclaimed 'gaming expert' cabal announcing their GaMe Of THE YeAr!!1one!

I'm just suprised to see that anyone cares.

I really wish SD or IC would promote these customer focused selection processes in the News section of the site. SD should also do it on its other game and community sites.

Online polls are one of the stupidest way to conduct a poll. If they don't check for IPs duplicates on a later date it's absolutely meaningless. (It's meaningless anyway, since it's mostly a popularity contest, or, who has the most minions to horde on a poll, anyway.)
