Scaling in XSI doens't work..?

What are we doing wrong?

Hi,

Some friends and I have begun modding a bit, mostly learning how to make new ships to put into the game.

We are already able to put the models ingame, textured and moving around, following orders, but they are smaller than the engineer ships. We tried several things, first of all scaling in XSI ofcourse, but the model came out with the same dimensions. Then we tried it again with a bigger model en froze everything there was to freeze (I think) and did it again, without effect. After that, we tried manipulating the numbers in the .mesh. The number near bounding radius and bounding radius itself, again without effect.
In one of the tutorials about creating ships, it said just to scale in XSI again, but that's not working in our case, so therefore my question is:

How can we make our ships bigger ingame?! Maybe we are just doing something wrong, but it is getting a little frustrating not knowing what it is and not making any progress...

I hope someone knows how to solve our problem

in my experiece I'd delete all of the intermediate files you have each time you rexport them, and are you freezing after rescaling? the only freeze you need to do is 'freeze all transforms' anything else may reset it.

Ah. I found out yesterday in the evening, but thanks anyway. I thought I had frozen all transforms already, but is seems I didn't. Now we can continue :D
