Once you are in chat, type '/join #elemental' (without the quotes).  You should be fine then.

Apparently #elemental is not  the place to get Elemental news... it's on Twitter now.

Also I'm told regularly that Elemental info/screenshots are posted in #demigod more often.

...somebody should remove this post so that newcomers are not confused...

I tried to connect through Impulse just now. I joined the Elemental channel but I can't say anything or see anyone else chatting. Every time I try to type it says Unknown Command.

I had the same problem a while back.  I guess those things can happen from time to time.  I ended up downloading Pidgin, which worked with no issues.

good question... I've already had a post that asked for information on how to get a refund nuked, after detailing within WHY I was seeking for one... I'm worried at the prospect of this pro-ported Gamers Bill of Rights, people are touting.

Hey ive been trying to use irc.stardock.com for quite a few days now and keep getting permmision denied or cannot connect both threw impulse window and with mirc client, ive used mirc for 10yrs now , i opened a port on my router, set a static ip therw router to system, have no system firewall , tried on both my comptuers, disabled win fw also. i use no external 3rd party fw,av programs nothing like that , in mirc the message im getting is.

*Unable to connect to server (permission denied)

And on impulse i get

Error: Connection Refused.



Has it been down or something? all the other mirc channels i have are work , the ones that come with it and so on. I am on my own internet connection not a public network or anything , have disabled all of my Routers fw/protection protocalls(whatevfer u calledm).

I just wana mess round with frogboys new ai tweaks he's been posting up grrr. Any ideas or confirmation of this working on toher peoples computers or not.
