See the serial I installed with?

I didn't get a chance to write down my serial, and my mom throughout everything but the disk because she is so nosey. Is there a way I can see what serial I used to install the game with? I need it to update but I can't find it.

um this is VERY strange

try looking in the game's folder for a notepad thin or somthing
