Broken Economy To Blame

The world’s economy is all broken my friends, not just the United State of America.  We are going through a tough time. It’s no secret we are heading into a recession if not already in it. Though I’ll be getting a raise from my job the first week of next month as well as RETRO, I see close friends being laid off like rains dropping from the sky. (True Story)

We are less than ten days away from a very important election, the most important election in the history of United State of America.  We can’t deal with another 4 years of Bush’s doctrine; we need the kind of CHANGE we can believe in.  Change is coming to take us to a better direction.

This is a tough time my friends! If I wrongfully accused people for whatever reason, it’s the result of the stress we are facing with the economy and the unnecessary wars around the world.  But Change is on the way my friends, and you should be part of it. When things get back to normal, we’ll all say we believed we can. We will all remember we have said out loud ‘Yes We Can’.

Right now things are broken, even my desktop.

That's a very appropriate desktop.    I just can't bring myself to duplicate it, for my desktop is the only thing that keeps me going, since I haven't had a raise in three years, but consider myself fortunate to still have a job.  With a positive, cool, undepressing desktop, I can trick myself into perceiving the world as a glorious place, where the sun always shines, and cool, futuristic pleasantness occurs regularly.  Perception is everything (or so I've been told).

The economy is definitely suffering. But raising taxes certainly won't help.

Nope, sure won't!  Increased taxes reduce peoples propensity to pay, thus adversely affecting sales, jobs and the GDP.

Increase taxes in such unstable economic times and hello recession/bordering on depression.\

What the World needs now, is love, love sweet love... er, sorry, got carried away for a moment.  Seriously, overpriced goods and services need to be made more realistic.  Take the greed out of pricing and and make everything more affordable so people can more widely spend to drive up sales, thus jobs and the GDP.

Oh, and a fair day's pay for a fair day's work for everyone... not just the upper echelon, who will no longer get  'self-awarded' bonuses and golden parachute payouts.

There's an old saying: "It's easier to get $1.00 from a million people than it is to get a million dollars from one person"... so how about everyone gets an extra dollar (or two) to plough back into the economy through better propensity to pay... gotta be better than letting it sit in fat cats bank accounts doing nothing, other than making them even richer via interest, etc.
