NOD32 Antivirus detects SdBot Variant upon installation of Aveyond?

Concerned about seeing a virus notification with the installation of purchased Aveyond through Impulse.  Files are quarantined and installation is not possible.  Please advise?

I'd report that to ESET (the makers of NOD32). Stardock can't do a great deal if NOD32 falsely detects a virus in a peice of software they offer.

Just exclude the directory for the game through the NOD32 GUI. Simple.

Open GUI, click on AMON > Setup > Exclusions Tab and add the directory. Email Eset support and let them know, forward the Quarantive files to them.

I use Nortons Internet Security 2008, and my Aveyond.exe file contains the backdoor.sdbot virus. Does anyone know what the "sd" in "sdbot" stands for.....it's not Stardock is it ? I turned the antivirus off and installed it, yes it installed fine now, but the virus comes back when i actually run the game ! I personally don't think it is a false reading, I really think that the virus is in the master copy of aveyond ! Purposefully or acidently who knows, but if it is a false reading it is the first one i have ever had and I own 350 shop bought / downloaded games ! I wouldn't blame impulse / stardock though as their games are programmed by many different groups. Tell me what you think
