Bigger?

(Or it would be cool if the ships and planets were bigger)

Is is possible to make the graphics bigger?  I know this sounds silly, but i remember a setting for zoom rate, set to 3 or 4 or 5 on somethings, ships. I don't know about planets, but i thought is would be cool to see if the zoom rate would make the ships appear larger at the closer zoom?  And if that works, and im not entirely sure it will, but its a place to start, then maybe it will work with planets, or changing the size in the editor?

Anyway, im just trying to get a little more epic, you know?  :)   Largeness and vast open spaces do that.  :)

I don't know anything about increasing the zoom rate, but you could always just scale all the models in the game up.

Newboerg released a handy mesh rescaler.  Not sure about how it handles textures though.

Thats actually where I was about to redirect you! Go grab it in the thread called "handy little tool". You should probably experiement with it first before you try anything REALLY big, just to see how the textures handle it.
