If this is 'Dave' I have searched for your e-mail to Support but can not find it. You should have gotten an automated reply with a Ticket Number, as Zoomba asked, please supply that number.

Hi Balatar666 - I have looked in our system under the email address you are using here. I don't find a listed ticket to your name. If you have started a ticket with us at support your ticket number should have been sent to you in the auto reply. If you did not get an auto reply then please check your spam folder. The ticket number should be three letters followed by six digits.

Also if you did not get an auto reply that we recieved your ticket then support never got the ticket to begin with. If you like you can PM me the email address you used (in case this isn't it) and we can proceed from there.

There is no ticket number in the responses from [email protected]. First I get an automated response saying to go to the forum(useless), then another saying that I've been filtered for reasons which do not apply. BTW why offer nicknames if you are going to use the real one anyway? And if you have my name(presumably in association with my username) then you also have my email and should be able to find my original massage sent to [email protected]. I have re-sent the message AGAIN!

Our systems wouldn't simply filter you for no reason. If there is anything in your signature, embedded files, foul language, and so on at all it will send you that message.

I'm not certain what you mean by names. Your account must be under your real name, but your nick name is for logging in/posting in our comunities. As I said in the previous post I looked up your email but I did not find any support ticket from that address. I was asking if you had used another email address you might have used. If you like please send your email message to [email protected]. We can try from that end as well.

I beleive that Highlander was trying to confirm (using your name) that you, the poster, was the same as the registered user in the chance that your account was borked.

Why are you making it harder for support to help you now that you have thier attention?

That Balatar666 received such a polite and timely official response only further strengthens my appreciation of Stardock's support system and these forums.

Stardock would blow my game business out of the water, because if someone like Balatar666 posted his attention-wh0ring all caps and ignorant attitude in my forums for any reason, I'd ban him and block him, sale lost or not.

Balatar666 is a customer I would be eager to ditch. Stardock tries to help him...draw your own conclusions.

Indeed Kp, but...the Op does have a right to be somewhat upset i feel.

SD Using someone's name in a post is very poor form. The question as to the OP's identity could have been easily dealt with in a PM. A lot of people choose odd nicknames so as to hide their real name.

A choice the OP made. To have his identity posted on the forums when he has made an effort to keep his name private is a very poor show on behalf of Highlander.

Remember, the Devs/Mods are people too and as such are not above being a smart ass from time to time. No one can ever fault the effort, though i wonder if some polish on the rough edges might do some good at times.

Just ranting and trolling.....Ignore me as you see fit..... ;P

I don't know that the op has so much reason to feel upset.  Only his first name was used, so it's not exactly giving out any personal information. 

Also, the op's "problem" seems dubious and everyone who has tried to help him with his "problem" or has asked for clarification has been barked at by the op, myself included. (As can be seen by using the link that Zubaz provided).

This rant is just a rant from an uncooperative and unreasonable person who demands help and then directs his anger at those of us who try to assist.  If he was on the ToE site, I'd summarily ban him.

What, using a first name is a big deal? I suppose all the hackers will now desend on him and wipe out his bank account, steal his identity, and give him painful boils? Get a grip people.

No and i didn't suggest anything like that, but a person makes an effort to not use their name as their nick for whatever reason they choose. Having that choice taken from you is/was poor form, especailly when a PM would have worked just as well.

Some people just simply prefer their names not to be used in this type of enviroment. I'm only suggesting that that privacy should have been respected, especailly from a Stardockian.

And yes Motti, the rest of the OP's posting is very poor, we all know what a great job support/mods/devs will do with a simple please and thankyou.
