ACORN-Deliberate Fraud

$800k can buy you an election.

As if the Democrats haven't sunk low enough already, they have now shown that they are extremely capable of finding new lows.  Senator Obama contributed around $800k to the organization ACORN.  ACORN does a lot of work getting people to register to vote.  This sounds benign enough, but a closer look reveals a mountain of alleged scandals from this organization.

I'm sure you all are familiar with allegations of voter and registration fraud associated with ACORN, but there have been new developements here in Ohio.  Ohio now has a law that allows early voting, and that the vote may be cast on the same day the voter registers.  This law is horrible and unnecassary.  Ohio law already allowed for voters to vote early by absentee ballots without having to give any reasons why, so the whole reason Democrats pushed for this law was simply to allow people to vote the same day they register.

Why is this important?  Well, once a vote is cast, it can't be taken back.  This allows no time for registrations to be checked for accuracy (the whole reason there is a deadline to register in the first place).  So now it's easier for convicted felons, fake people, and dead people to register and have their votes counted.  ACORN not only enacts as an enabler to exploit this new loophole in the law, but is actually condoning voting malpractice.

Thousands of homeless people in Ohio have been recruited to get on busses to go register and vote.  Many were instructed by the bus drivers to vote for Obama, and many came back to the bus stating that they did exactly that.  The bus drivers, ACORN volunteers.

No wonder Obama and his Democrat friends support ACORN financially!  They are literally buying votes.  Call me crazy, but I thought that was illegal.

Michigan has been investigating ACORN, where are you Ohio?

At least this year it does not appear it will affect the outcome.  I would hope, but doubt given the likely winner, that reforms would be done and the organization would be censured after the election.  But like most scandals, it will go unpunished just to be resurrected in 4 years as a "new" scandal.

There is a lot of allegations about republican fraud, but as yet no evidence.  The evidence about Democrat fraud is overt and identifiable.  But they are always the first to yell fraud, to deflect attention from their own.

Let's not forget the obvious demographic ACORN is targeting.  I mostly see them at college campuses and down by the Social Services building.

I went to downtown Cincinnati to take care of some business. And there were about 8 ACORN representatives swarmed in front of the Social Services building asking every single person that walked out of the office, and ones that were just walking by, if they were registered to vote. I caught a few reps. following people as they were walking down the street. I guess those few that were walking away didn't want to be bothered.

I am glad to hear that ACORN has been investigated in Las Vagas. That there was a girl by the name of Monica Ray who was registered 8 times. And, I am also happy to know that Ohio is starting to crack down on ACORN as well. :)
