NEW PC - -

I need a little help from some very kind people ...

Ok Guys ... Sweet and simple replies would be appreciated here ... so here goes !!

Following a freak lightning strike a few houses away from me , a few days ago ,

my PC decided it was not going to work for me anymore ... X(

This was a total wipeout ... both my drives were medium rare .... and the mobo was fried solid  .. and that was with a top of the range surge protector too ... >:( 8C

However , as they say , every cloud has a silver lining , and it is with this in mind , I decided to buy a brand spanking new

Acer Aspire M6240 ...  :thumbsup: :P :thumbsup:  

I could not afford the full Vista Ultimate package so I opted for VISTA HOME PREMIUM ... :d

I intend to get the upgrade to Utimate in a few weeks ....|-)

Which leads me to my question ..

I already subscribe to Object Desktop ... and Wincustomise ... what do I have to do to get up and running

with it all  once more ... :maybe:

go to my settings top of main page, go to the registrations section, in it will have links to all your purchased stuff. you can reinstall from there .. or install impulse and fill in your registration stuff and it will list all your purchased stuff to re DLD from there :)

When I got my new system I was directed to download Impulse and install all from there. Worked like a dream. Hope whoever stole it is enjoying all of my stuff!

I was sick as a dog when the old pc blew ... The wierd thing is that I had just begun archiving all my C:// drive bits onto the backup disk (D://) when it went down ...  so consequently I lost all my sidebar stuff .. ya know WIP etc.... clocks , sidebars, bitmaps,pix , everything ... X( X( :waaaa: :waaaa:

I tell you , that Ouzo certainly tasted good and lessened the pain for sure ...

It will be a little time before I get my sidebar running as it should again ...

Right then .. let battle commence ... }:) ;P

Using either SDC or Impulse, you just have to put your registered email addess in, and all your purchases will show up.

I'm glad to see you up and running again. It took me a little while to get used to the Vista way of doing things, but I like it. :grin:

Hi Xiandi ...  I'm ok , but the pc is DEFINITELY FEELING BETTER hehehee !!XD XD

I'm not too sure about up and running yet , at the moment I am up and walking !!

The Vista way is definitely wierd at the moment , but I have to admit , I am starting to like it a lot ... :thumbsup:
