new installation question

I will be getting my new laptop in a few days. I'm just wondering if I am allowed to have the game installed on both my laptop and my desktop.

 

Another question is how do I get the game installed on the new laptop. As you can see I am not very good with computers. Do I need to install impulse first?

Im guessing you have the physical install cd, so just install on both computers.  Impulse wouldnt be neccessary, but for updates they are so you might want to get it anyways, couldnt hurt.

No limited installs with this game.  Go stardock!

I only have the gold edition of the cd. The rest is all online download.

 

So I have no worries by having the games on both way cool.

you can also update the game on the computer with internet then archive the games and copy the archives + impulse over to the second computer to get the updates

I installed the game on my laptop (yeah finally got it hehe) one little problem, after I installed everything I do not have access to the new twilight contents, I do on my desktop but not on my laptop. Anybody know why?

what's your problem exactly ?

I mean you should have a Twilight of the Arnor Shortcut which you should click to start TA ...

Resolved on another thread, he forgot to use show prerelease when updating TA.
