hello people...i would like to bring to your notice the double standards followed by the moderators over here.....here is the link to my article on how i had lost my virginity (Link)....i had started writing this after i had gone thru one such similar article by tangled wishes (Link).....i had actually decided to tone down my writings abt adult stuff and also my writings abt sex....but this article by tangled wishes tells us how she lost her virginity and it was written abt 6 mnths back and till abt 2 hrs back, it was in the forum...

now i have the moderator commenting on the my article that i should have marked mine as adult and that i should not have posted it in the forum.....the article by tangled wishes was not marked as adult (though it contained liberal use of words like sex, orgasm etc in the article and in the comments section as well) and was in the forum till abt 2 hrs back (though it was written more than 6 mnths back).....and i went thru the comments section of that article hoping to find atleast 1 comment by the moderator or any person that the content was inappropriate for a general audience but i found none.....on the contrary, in addition to the article, the comment section was full of praise for the article and also contained experiences of others on how they lost their virginity....

but within 3 hrs of my article being posted, my article has been removed.....
now i would like to know why the same was not done for the other article...why the other article was not asked to be marked as adult by the moderator though it has been in existence for the past 6 mnths....and also why the article was not removed till abt 2 hrs back....how come it took them 6 mnths while it took only 3 hrs...and why was such a comment placed on my article and not a single comment on the other article by the moderators?? why the double standards??

if a proper explanation is given for this double standards, i am ready to take back all the statements which i have talked abt above....

well...u guys can keep ranting...i know the rules around here and i found a few things which were not by the rulkes....just as u people made a hue and cry abt my article on masturbation, i also raised this point abt the article.....why is it that u people did not mail the moderator abt the masturbation and the pic thing?? why were such baseless comments posted and a huge article saying 'manya77 is a fraud' started??

u people now advice me that i have to go by the rules and if i find something which is not according to the rules, then i need to report it....same case applies to u people....why did not anyone report ur concersn abt the pic and the masturbation article to the moderator?? why did everyone have to raise a hell in my blog abt it?? and why was a article calling me a fraud written?? well, u people could have acted in a matured manner and done what all u have adviced me to do now when u saw my article....why did u people not do it??

i perfectly understand that one article was missed and mine was not..sure...sounds perfect....i wanted to raise that issue and hence wrote that article..and i clearly said in my article that if a proper explanation was given, i would take back everything that i said...

but apart from karma, all i hear from the others is that i am a newbie, dont know anything etc etc.....well i could show many instances when u people had acted in an immature manner(by people, i dont mean all of u, i mean a few).....there were so many comments on tangled's article but why did not even a single person raise the issue that the content was not good??

why did not even a single person pass a comment that starting an article calling another gal as a fraud is childish?? is that these people who did the above are members for a long time and i am not?? all i hear from most of the above comments is that i a newbie, i wont understand, i will leave soon etc....is a newbie so bad?? is being a newbie a sin?? or is it that those who have been here for 6 mnths know everything and decide what should be written and what should not??

anyway, all i want to say is that it will be better if the rules are fairly applied....or i will stick to it all the same but u people can atleast try and understand the other side of the story.....

This is the point you keep missing. There was no such option as 'Contains Adult Material' at that time. And there are vast differences in the way she wrote about the topic than you.

Maybe my age is showing here, but I find that to be a pretty childish thing to say. Sure, we all want folks here to be treated fairly, but why be so wishy-washy to base your behavior on that of others? You should choose to follow the rules because you respect them and respect those who made them. Not because everybody else is. Learning to be intrinsically motivated is a great lesson.

Perhaps it's because Tangled isn't and wasn't trying to gain attention for herself by talking about how she gets herself off, the size of her breasts, how she hates it when guys look at other girls but not at her, how she likes sex, how she masturabates frequently and the exact methods she uses; perhaps it's because she didn't use words like 'cunt lips' and describe how she sometimes tastes her own 'fluids'.

It could also be because she uses complete words and doesn't abbreviate and use terms like 'ppl', 'ur' and 'u'. 

Then again it could be that she read the Terms Of Service and agreed to abide by them, and didn't write an article about the double standards of the moderators on a site where she blogs for FREE.  She also didn't post a picture she claimed to be of herself, but which some seasoned bloggers thought looked suspiciously like a porn star..(and I checked the pic out then went and googled the name...I can understand why SuspekTed thought that).

Bottom line is this Manya...you've rubbed people here the wrong way, and the longer you protest, the more you're going to piss people off.

so dharma...u judge an article on who has written it, what his/her past history is, what kind of articles she has written etc?? u dont judge or pass a comment on an article wrt what it contains?? the article in question does not have any reference to the size of my breasts, or how i taste my fluids or how i dont like if people dont pay attention etc....so why dont u judge the article by what it contains and not what the precious articles contained??

as for using abbreviated terms, well, i suppose i have the freedom to do that in my blog...right?? or is there some rule in this place which tells that i should not be using abbreviated words??

as for the pic thing, i have explained it several times and i dont want to repeat it...as i said, if u going to judge an article on the author and not on the content, then i guess something is wrong...

i dont mind pissing people off....i want to tell my side of the whole thing....if that pisses people off, i simply cant help it...i guess everyone should be able to take both sides of any viewpoint...i accepted karma's viewpoint....and i expect atleast a few to understand mine...

just drop the subject. You may have some cultural conflicts but just follow these two points.

- Respect the decisions of the moderators (Karmagirl, Draginol) as they own the site and make the rules.
- Don't argue with them in public.

If you really feel you have an issue then send the moderatoe a personal polite email, outlining the issues. There's nothing worse than publically posting an 'I feel hard done by' post at upsetting people. But remember this is their site and they rightly make the rules. They don't have to be fair, but most people believe that they really are. Remember that this is a community and communities get upset when you bad mouth the owners.

You've gotten off on a bad start Manya, forget about it, follow the rules and guidlines the moderators have set (such as making sure you flag adult content) and blog away. If others comment negatively on your articles then feel free to delete their comments or blacklist the user so that they cannot comment again (first try politely asking them not to read or comment if it offends them). You have these full rights on your own articles, use them if need be, but don't let your articles degenerate into fights or heated slanging matches.

Umm...yeah, to a point.  I know that I'm going to like something that Karma and many other people here write....I know that Draginol writes about things political, that Marvin00 writes about religion - different writers 'specialize' in different things. Everyone has their own style.  Yours is soft-core porn with lots of abbreviations in order to draw attention to yourself.  You say that you're writing about your life. If that's truely the case, I'd suggest that you see a professional for help with your Narcissus complex and sex addiction.

Mano's right, by the way....you HAVE been watching too much TV.  No 'gangster' I know of speaks like that.

as soon as karma and draginol explained, i agreed....i did not argue with them ....and frankly, i do not know their email ids....probably cos i am new to this site...apart from these 2 things, i agree totally with u solitaire....ur comment seems to be the only sensible one among all these...will try to follow ur comments...

as for dharmagrl, well, i dont know what to say....replying to her comments is a waste of time i guess...

Let's black list manya.

I hate people who think that all anyone wants to hear about is sex. It's okay to some extent, but EVERY BLOG is a little much. I mean, I've thought about writing about the emotional aspect of MY first time (which was recently), but it would be marked.

And as for grammar... I know your first language is not English, but please spell the words out. It makes it very difficult to figure out what words you are trying to use. Capitalization and proper punctuation would make it tons easier.

As for the "Adult content" marker... You need to use it. Would you want a 6 year old getting on the site and they see that article?? It's totally inappropriate and some people (such as me and my boyfriend) like to ignore the adult content when we can. Sometimes we'll read the adult content one's when we really don't give a fuck and his 5 year old daughter isn't around.

Deal with the rules. You agreed to them. You are not being forced to abide by them. You chose to accept them.
