Hopefully Impulse will be storing these when the game is out. ;)

Cool that would be awsome feature :P

Though if you want them reviewed/rated and have a chance of winning replay of the week I reccomend you also post them on gamereplays.org as mentioned above :)

Impulse doing it wouldn't be that great, to be honest.  GPGnet stores replays but there are so many that finding good ones and discussing them is very difficult; it is easier to just post it at GR :D

I think Savage2 did replays very nicely.

LOL, shameless plug. :P  Still I agree that there were too many replays to count on gpg.net.  On the same token, how are GR's replays any better (wrt quality, not quantity)?

Most GR replays (or at least a very fair amount of them) are of great quality. The community at Gamereplays.org is made up of players who are into competitive gaming and do not support single player/unbalanced but fun games. Because of this nature most players are very good, and so we get LOTS of very high quality replays. Also we have a very effective (and accurate) reviewing/rating system that allows players to filter out that the replays that lack quality with the ones are of the highest quality :)

Um, how do I record the game?

Replay are recorded automatically and saved as LastGame.FRGReplay in the

C:\Documents and Settings\Gary\My Documents\My Games\Gas Powered Games\Forge\replays\Gnats3

folder (obviously the last folder is your profile name).  You need to move it or rename it before you play another game though, since it saves over it every time you play.

How do you use the DGReplay file to watch a game?

Do replays really work yet?  I thought at best they crashed 10 minutes in.

They don't work for me. Within a couple of minutes everybody gets "disconnected" and they all freeze.
