A pretty cool video about the Large Hadron particle accelerator project in Europe. It actually does a pretty decent job of explaining what an accelerator does, in an entertaining way.
I've been checking out a bit about that. It's pretty awesome. I just hope it doesn't backfire and kill us all

But dont worry Zoo. The way I see it, you will never know if it backfires. No one will. 
I find the fearful claims of that couple of kooks to be amusing as hell. Some think it will create mini black holes that will devour the Earth, and another thinks it'll create a quasar that will destroy the Earth.
Reminds me of those who predicted an uncontrolable chain reaction that would destroy the planet when an atomic bomb was exploded.
People always obsess about the end of the world...this is just one more doomsday scenario for them to go nuts about.
Guess we'll find out tomorrow if it makes us implode.

Believe it or not I just heard one of those news teasers they show during breaks in televsion shows where the news man actually said "Tune in at 6:00 to find out why the world may end in just a few hours".
Can you just imagine how many people who know nothing about this topic just got the shit scared out of them?
I feel kind of dead when I wake up every morning.
Not a fan of that early rising bullshit.

I wonder how many idiots did tune in? I mean, seriously. If the world is going to end, why worry? You wont be around to say I told you so after the fact.
I just hope when the world does end it doesn't happen while I am sleeping. I'd really hate to miss it.
