Experienced players match up sign up

Hey there:)

Last night 4v4 game inspired that topic. We've been playing [_]-Anfield (me), [_] King of Kings, Yodarkore and Tyr222 vs Spiralblitz, Bksabath, Kurugah and Dark Star. The game lasted hour and a half and we had a really quality match, which everyone enjoyed I think.

Anyway, quality games like that, especially at that scale - 4v4 are very, very rare recently.  No offence, but most people joining these days are with record like 0/0/0, respectively witht the corresponding skill level. All i say is that the more experienced players don't have much fun when playing fast games against newbs, there's simply no challenge. We all have been newbs at some time, just when you new guys get more experienced and move to the next level - you are welcome then.

But this topic is for better players, like the above mentioned. I say lets see if we can arrange something like a more games like that, or minitournament or something where we can meet and play with players at the same skill level. It's just immensely more funny. I realise that not all of us are in the same time zone, so it will not be easy for everyone to play at the same time, but we could give it a try tho.

I am from Bulgaria, which is +7 hours, compared to the US East Coast, so usually end up playing till 4-5 AM, when i can, but i know there are many quality players who are from europe and could play at more normal hours during the day.

So i will leave this thread open for suggestions and arrangements. Hope it will work out for more epic games like that:)

Generally, the DT clan is on in the evenings.  You will see me around about 7-9pm EST, although today I might start earlier (I'm [DT]Howthe?).  Tyr222 is also a DT member.  Anyway, we would welcome a game with experienced people; we share your sentitment that noob bashes just aren't that much fun or much of a challenge, even if it's 3v5.

Kinda gives me an idea this.

All players who are sick of silent premature quitters and noobs should all carry a suffix or tag , and we all add each other on the friends list. This way people can play games confident that players will stick around and teammates are reliable and know what they are doing.

Maybe we can create a registrar of all decent players who want to play decent games.

Hey guys...is DT playing 1.09 still, or did you guys move back to 1.05 while waiting for 1.1?  Just curious...thought about playing a little, but the strikecraft bug in 1.09 was really annoying -- it kind of forced you to build carriers so you could cheat if the other guy cheated first.  If he cheated and you didn't have any carriers to cheat with, you were screwed.   =)
