Stardock component tray

Just installed Impulse (NO complaints!) and my OD Ultimate, but component tray doesn't install correctly....anyone else have this problem?

Apart from that, no problems at all, and actually this is LOADS (LOL) better than SDC. Thanx for any help/explanations.  ;)

Dr J0622 I've had it download but never tried it. Looks like a right click systems for Stardock progrsm. In fact I had an update to it today. It seems to work okay for me. Why not try uninstalling it rebooting and reinstalling it.

Funtiosn wise it does what the Impulse Dock and My Dssktop Tab does, sort of. ;)

Ahhhhh.....how does the tune go? "The boys are back in town...."

On a more serious note (if that's possible with these guys loitering here) thanks Philly0381. I did uninstall it but didn't reboot before reinstalling (and it didn't work that time either)...how Win98-ish!

As the Cannibal said while eating a Clown, "Something here tastes funny...".

Dr J0622 I'm running it on an XP home system. What are you running? If Vista it might not be Vista friendly, don't really know.  ;)

Wow... ok... Vista Home Premium. I get the message "Application Path cannot be found. Uninstall and reinstall,". Did that but, as I answered, didn't work. Uninstalled using Impulse and using Vista's uninstall (control panel).

Dr J0622 I just remember a conversation in the IRC earlier today. If I remember correctly Component Tray is no longer a supported program. It only shows up in Impuluse if you are a long time subscriber of ObjectDesktop. That makes be believe it is not Vista compatible.  ;)

Hum.. I tried this app too.. I got it installed just fine. I get same error when actually tryin to RUN the program though.

I am runnin a Vista OS so I am thinkin it might be an OS issue.

I thought my advice might help...

No problem and thank you Dr J0622.  ;)

Anne, thanks :) . That, and Philly's note that it runs on XP pretty much confirms it.

Philly, you're welcome ;) .

Have you ever woken up in the morning knowing that you made a mistake the day before? Well that's me this morning. The above quote was incorrect. I now realize that the program that was talked about in IRC was not the Component Tray no longer being supported but Enhance File Dialog. I apologize for that. I did not intend to give out bad information.

I will now go and sit in the corner with my funny pointed hat.

Stay away from my pants!!

You just saunter up and bump his throbber out of the blue and you won't even let him near your pants?

How rude.

How did my simple question arrive at that funny "Broken Throbber" thread? Or the crazy Zubra striped Zebraz pants....did that come out right? :SURPRISED: No matter. What a great bunch of Wacky Wabbits.

Thanx for trying to help! :)
