Clan Phalanx [PX] - Recruiting

Looking for competitive Sins players

Hello everyone, we're looking for members for a new Sins clan, Clan Phalanx.  Our goal is to become the strongest competitive clan through practice, and understanding the game mechanics.

We're aiming for somewhere around 10 players who will be online regularly.  If you're interested, PM me or post in this thread and we can set up a time for a tryout.  It's okay if you're not an expert, but you have to be willing to put the time in to improve.

Once the clan get's rolling we'll start challenging other clans to matches as often as possible, and we'll get a Teamspeak server for ease of communication.

Hope to see some of you guys online.

Welcome to the clan scene. Looks like PX might want to challenge DT sometime. We would certainly welcome a good competitive game.

As a side note, everyone in the Army is going to immediately think you are a store (the PX is the acronym used for the military exchange).

i would be interested in talking to you about playing on your clan. been playing 2 months now as a single player against the AI set to hard and rotate what they specialize in. also what race they are. i beat the AI over 90% of the time. i usually play 2 on 2 or 3 on 3 withj the other players being AI.

Yeah, we'll try you out. We can play tomorrow during the day (gotta finish around 5:00), or maybe tomorrow night (around 10:00), but I'm not sure about that one. If not then how 'bout Sunday?

Glad to hear you're interested. I'd recommend getting your feet wet with some multiplayer games asap. Beating 2 or 3 cpu opponents by yourself isn't easy, but good human opponents present different and tougher challenges than the computer can.

We're also setting up a SINS tournament ... but we need gamers insight onto the details and preferred times etc.

We can also set-up a add-on Forum that's attached to our Gaming Forum specifically for your clan. You would be the leader, and you would allow who can enter, leave, and you're in-charge of everything that goes onto the forums etc.

BTW, DT would love to do a tournament.  However, I think everyone want's to hold out until v1.1 since it will be more stable and HOPEFULLY fix the problems with starting postitions (lack of phase lanes).

I'm not really spamming the forums but whatev :)

I type-out everything instead of copy/pasting stuff so it's unique to each post.

and pardon my unknowing of DT. but who's DT? Do they got a site?

Also... if they are interested, then have them come over to pgnation.com and tell us what they'd like... We could delay a tournament until the 1.1 release and get going from there, but there's planning and development that must be done before a tournament is started.
