Ships made from Battleships Forever Question

I was wondering if anyone has started to develop ships that were created or were created by yourselves from Battleships Forever, then created the ships in Sins.

It is a rather entertaining vector based game where you can create your own starships. I had a few ships made but porting them to my new PC did not work :|

It's a free, top-down tactical space combat game with ships. What makes it interesting is the fact that ships can strafe and even fly backwards, allowing smaller, faster ships to strafe behind a larger ship where it has no firepower and chew its ass up.

Also, it has shields which only affect a few pieces of the ship at a time, creating an invincible area but leaving the rest of the ship wide open. It has point defense for shooting down enemy projectiles, however they can't affect beams.

Just play it, you'll like it.

I'll look at it, as I'm 3 days into coding a spaceship mesh generator for SINS :) :D

Here's something I just made with my new program: :CONGRAT:

Sins would be great if we do some Battleships Forever moves, like strafing. That would really give frigates an advantage over cruisers and capitals, them being able to move around to their ass and fire right up it.

So far all my starship designs are in my head. I started getting into paper craft though.....

OMG!

Battleships Forever has simply the best space-battle coding!!!

If only it could have the epic scale and graphics of SINS, and STILL play that way!!!

Also, there was a little game called "GravityWell", which is what I thought SINS was going to be like before I got it... ...GravityWell had Fully Automated empire building, and all you did was collect planets and attack ships :CONGRAT:

GravityWell is like Self-Replicating Tradeports in SINS, everything is taken care of, and you just focus on flying your ship around, planting ownership flags on planets for your robot-freighters to colonize!

Combine the good aspects of all three, and you have The Perfect Game!

You know what Helioforge? He's gonna be updating Battleships Forever soon to be even bigger, with bigger ships, bigger arenas, and Internet Multiplayer, so you can blow your friend's dreadnought to bits with a few corvettes and flame him afterwards for not covering his flank.

Played that game, loved it. They "updated" it a while ago, and it was complete trash. ;_;
