So is today a lucky day?  There are lots of weddings and scheduled c-sections today.  Eight is a lucky number in chinese numerology.  It means wealth and prosperity.  So I say why not go with it?  Everyone who has employees should give them a raise today.  Everyone who has a job should ask for a raise. 

It's also the first day of the Olympics.  Go USA. 

So I'm thinking that at 8 o'clock we should all go to the Super 8 motel, eat eight egg rolls, do eight jumping jacks and then we will have eight-fold happiness for eight years.  Who's with me? Did I mention that this will be televised on ESPN 8, the Ocho.
