Call of Duty 5: Looks like another great game

I was reading the Xbox 360 magazine and there star article was about Call of Duty 5:World at war. Since the game has a developing time of 2 years not much was really indepth, but this is what I know.

  1. The campaing will switch off from a American marine in the Pacific, to a Russian soldier on their way to conquer Berlin. Let me just say that this is the second time where the campaign is focused on Japan, the only other one that I am aware of is Medeal of Honor: Rising sun
  2. This Call of Duty will be copying Halo becuase you and three friends can play together in the campaign.
  3. You can use a flame thrower. Do I have to say more?
  4. Online matches will probally be raised from 16 to 18. Also War mode from call of duty 3 will be brought back.
  5. The online gameplay in Call of duty 4 will be copyd for this one.
  6. One level will be flying a plane and destrying Japanse ships.
  7. The devs will try to copy the brutality and anger that both sides witnessed and had in the war.
  8. There will be plentey of sneak attacks.
  9. The game mechincs will be pretty realistic. Grenades will sink to the bottom before exploding and bullets will not do as much damage when hitting the water.

I hope you found this intresting! :CONGRAT:

I surely did, being a big fan of Call of Duty 2 and 4. I can only hope this will be for PC's as well, since Call of Duty 3 was never ported to PC. What a shame.

I think that going back to WWII is a step back. There are dozens of WWII shooters and they are all to similar. I love COD4 and the modern setting and making another WWII game just seems lazy. I will probably end up buying it or borrowing it from a friend but not for a while.

My opinion ya Call of Duty 1, and 2 were good, 4 was great, 3 not so much... now the only prob is the group that made COD 3 is making 5 so I am kinda worried...

Speaking of which, I have not even heard word that it is coming to PC yet.

That would be a total shame if it doesn't. I much prefer the keyboard and mouse setup than a gamepad.
