cannot install

hey, PLEASE help.

I keep getting the installation for sins of a solar empire has failes " the system cannot find the file specified"

Please check your settings and try again.

it seems like it cannot find the folder but I even manually set one up it will not load.

I have windows xp 2, had 3, then removed to see if that was it. 8500 nvidia pci express card amd 3700+ (2.2 gig) processor 2.5 gig ram 50 gig hd space available

still no joy I am at a loss please help.

I'd think it would work for you, if you're using the disk version..

Most installation issues are caused by still having the demo installed. Either way, getting it through Impulse should definitely work if all else fails.

did not have the demo installed
was really wierd.
I did register then downloaded the game that did the trick THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!

Hey--I've been having the same problem as cutter2010! Great advice about installing Impluse, but I need to know how to regester my CD Key after I've logged on to impulse--I can only see where I can download the game if I pay for it, but I already bought the cd...any advice?
