Can't Save .ini File

I'm tryng to make a rainy and it won't let me save the changes to the .ini file. I get this message...

"Cannot create the C;/Program Files/Rainlendar/Skins/OneHundred/Normal.ini file.  Make sure that the path and file name are correct."

Ok, I opened it in that location in the first place, so the path is correct. I didnt change the name of it either. I even tried to save it with absolutly no changes whatsoever.

This is the first time I have tried to save an .ini file on this Vista machine. I've never had this problem on my old XP. Any suggestions?

BTW, I'm working with the older version of Rainlendar right now.

Dunno. How can I find out?

Since it's located in the program files, then to open it, you may need to right-click on the file and select "run as administrator". Also, you could try saving your .ini as a .txt, delete the .ini, then re-name the text file as "(filename).ini".

I found it! That's exactly what was wrong. Is there a way to give me privileges on everything without having to give myself permission every time?

Probably not. Make sure that your active user has administrator privileges; but even then Vista won't let you do some things without "running as administrator".

It can be annoying sometimes, but having been bit by a serious virus while using XP, I don't mind the extra security.
