did they give a reason for the rejection?

All 15 or so emails had reasons included.

Just to re-iterate, several were 'familiar' which translates as 'seen before because they belong to someone else'....so all are thus in equal doubt.

It may not be the case that they are not understanding that you have made them on your own. Its because there are many very high quality wallpapers submitted everyday to WC and they take only the topnotch. There are very wellknown skinners whose wallpapers cant make it to the main-gallery so dont give-up, keep trying and there is a nice thread personal page elites by po'smedley to show-off your work.

I checked your gallery and I think one of your wall has made to the main gallery. Its a nice shot(if you took that on your own, well I cant figure it out where on earth you can easity get to the dense forests with splashing green light). Anyway congrats! and keep it up.

Also some still had the url from which they came.
