Political Machine 2008 won't install

After registering the game on my account and attempting to install, I relogged in to find the the game had disappeared from my account again. Repeated attempts to install have resulted in the same problem. Is it anything to do with the fact that I registered this particular title under a different email address to my actual account? If so, can this be remedied?

Also, Impulse itself claims 'one or more problems while updating' upon installation. Perhaps that might have something to do with it. Reinstall yields the same error.

This error has been corrected in the latest update in Impulse. If you still have troubles please try clearing (you will see me say this all over but it is effective) your XML data.

From within Impulse:

-Click the blue Help icon in the upper right.
-Choose 'Open XMLs folder (public)'
-When the folder pops up, delete any files/folders inside.
-Close this Window
-Click the blue Help icon in the upper right.
-Choose 'Open Impulse ProgramData folder'
-When the folder pops up, delete any files/folders inside.
-Close impulse and relaunch it. You may notice a long update time, which is normal as it is rebuilding the deleted info.
