memory hogging, freezing

Does anyone out there have problems with Sins hogging the memory, slowing down the cpu, amd freezing at times?ms. What do do other gamers do when these occur for 'Sins'?

Thanks,

1. The make sure device drivers for everthing in their system (ie. Mainboard chipset, sound, video etc. ) are all up-to-date.

2. They turn graphical settins down....and possibly play on smaller maps.

3. They invest in more RAM. SINS seems to love upwards of 1GB of RAM, and since RAM is cheap these days.....

I have also found (in testing SINS with various hardware/software and OS configs) that the old adage of setting one's pagefile to at least 2.5 X the amount of installed RAM helps things run smoothly!

For the memory and CPU issues, I would definetly reccomend trying what the Monk said. I've run into a few posts that have the same problems, and the Monk's advice seems to be pretty accurate toward fixing the problem.

Personally, I haven't had problems in the CPU or Memory department, but I have had a lot of freezing issues. They seem to have gone away now that I've installed NVIDIA beta driver 174.74. Haven't had any problems with it so far, but I would still reccommend trying all other drivers possible before using a beta.
Best of luck!
