What difficulty AI takes over a dropped player?

I was almost beaten by an AI that took over my friend's empire. And he only left in the first 5 minutes of his game.

This was in a 1v1v1 FFA match between 3 humans and one of the humans dropped out, if that is a factor in the difficulty of the AI.

This AI was utterly destroying my frontier worlds. He couldnt possibly have been an Easy or Normal AI.

Can Ironclad put in a feature where the other players get to decide if an AI can take over.

Forexample - If a player has to go , or a disconnect - then Yes . If a player quits like noob - then No.

Ive seen some hilarious situations where a newb ally kicks the crap out of an enemy noob, the noob quits and an AI takes over that proceeds to come back and kill my newb ally , because simply the AI does something a newb doesnt do - Build More Ships.

I've also seen this, so it make me think it must be at least Hard.
If only people will learn that Sins is a game you are not out of when playing teams until your last planet AND colonising ship is gone...
Even then if you keep your fleet in the game you can still get a win..
Trust in your allies - if you are being worked hard by a player, chances are your allies will be able to work the undefended part of their empire...

You can never change the attitude of a noob.

Except for one thing , and I implore Ironclad to do this , because the current win/loss system is crap.

Basically reward In-game time. The more hours you clock inside a game , the higher your rank . This means even if your losing , if you stay in the game you gain more rank.

Nice Idea, +1 :CONGRAT:

That would help alot considering the amount of games that people DC from. alot of people have like 50 games and only like 5 results.

Sadly I have to say this is a bad idea :(

It will reward players from going afk after losing, which is already a problem in the game.

What would be nice is if you can choose the skill level of the AI player, or choose for the empire to vanish. If someone quits in-game, their Ships and world either become guarding forces (like what protects a planet at the begining of a game), or the empire vanishes enitrely (leaving nothing).
Just the option would be nice.

Surrendering seems to be the same like quitting except that you get a loose for being honest.

Yes - which is why quit should be removed and replaced with a No Contest vote system, or a save and quit option.
