The Choice is a No Brainer

The Choice is a No Brainer

Who Are You Voting For?

I've been thinking.

I do that from time to time.

Anyhow, I've been thinking I have no choice but to vote.

Earlier in the year I said, and meant it, that I felt I could not vote the way things were going.  I'm not excited about any of the candidates at all.  I've said repeatedly I'm not a McCain supporter and I had no desire to vote for him.

Of course many razzed me saying no vote is a vote for Hillary or Obama.  So what?  To me they all looked alike once you get past color and gender.

Anyhow I've been thinking.

Now it's down to two.  Obama and McCain.

When all is said and done I have to admit Senator McCain has not spent decades aiding and abetting people who hate America.

Quite the opposite.  He paid a huge price for resisting our enemies even as they held him prisoner and tortured him.   What has Obama done?  What has he proven to us?

The choice is a no brainer.

I'm voting for McCain.

I love how The Politico sits on threads talking to him/herself while the rest of us ignore it.

I've found the more terrified zealots are of the truth the quicker they are to ignore those facts. If you are too afraid to debate the defect is with you, not the person you are afraid of.

I don't care what he says. He's lying and his words are coming right straight from the pit of hell.

Political zealots willing to pass judgment on just how "Christian" you are rarely want you to reciprocate.

Well I didn't. He's gonzo.

Its quite apparent that you are patently incapable of disproving even a single thing he said. Why are you afraid of debate?

hahahaha.

Loved that VIDEO...maybe he only has issues with putting his hand over the heart when the singing is SO BAD!

People might think he's having a heart attack..."OH Lizabeth, I'm comin to join ya!"

I suggest you read the TOS. You just violated them. You can read, cant you?

Oh well, maybe someone can read them to you.

My thoughts exactly. I'm pretty sure my hands would be over my ears rather than my chest during that atrocity. I have to respect his restraint to not do the same.

So you are saying pointing out rightwing hypocrisy violates the TOS?

I did not violate them at all. But I have no doubt that you are a typical rightwing troll who will go lying and file false reports claiming I did.

I've been on a lot of political forums, the bigger the rightwing blowhard the quicker they lie and fabricate TOS violations to complain about.

One has to face the facts. The GOP has mastered the art of smear campaigning. The had to for good reason. If the sheep really thought about that it would be more devastating to the party then the past 6 years.

Obviously you don't know me that well. You must be new?   Anyone here knows I love a good debate  as long as it's friendly.  Go ahead, tell me I'm wrong and we'll discuss it.  I can take it.  I am definitely not afraid to debate anyone and in fact this is the only time in like three years I've actually BL anyone besides one other for a very temporary period of time.  And believe me I have my fair share of critics on here.

Right guys?

Politico was not about debating anything.  She (thanks Doc) was about being rude for no other reason but to agitate.  When the F-bomb was let go, that was it for me.  Not only was she being a nuisance on this thread but also leaving quite a bit of her nothing but hate speech on my other thread.

Yes, one has to face the facts.  Good idea.  Listen to Obama. Read his books.  Then watch his actions.  Those are the facts.

There is plenty of "smear" to go around on both sides, and I imagine it's going to get pretty nasty this summer by the looks of it.

Sorry TP - it is you who did the lying and fabricating. I guess that makes you the troll.

WOW! Hillary Clinton, AL Gore and Dan Rather are GOP? I would have never guessed.

Thanks.   I was starting to think Politico and Election Correction were one in the same by their postings.

True, Obama's own life and words smear him far more than any polical opposition ever could. On the other hand, while McCain's life has been exemplary, his Senate record smears him pretty badly.

I maintain, sleeping around on your disabled wife is NOT exemplary behavior. McCain has been anything but.

I never inferred that Dems don't propogate smear campaigns, but even the GOP strategists will admit that their party has been the frontrunner of smear for quite a while now.

Ok, I'll admit, I was thinking only of his professional life here... meaning his Military career before his Senate career. I agree, his personal life hasn't been any better an example than his Senate record.

I still say the guy packed up his backbone with his ditty bag.

You're two for two.

The person who wrote this is a perfect example of an ignorant, wilfully uninformed member of that 54% of Americans who haven't read a non-fiction book in the last year.

I teach seventh-grade in inner-city Los Angeles, and at least half of my students (who are twelve and thirteen) could make a more reasoned argument about which candidate to vote for.

Well you're wrong catguy.  I read ONLY non-fiction (although the Newspapers sometimes read like fiction these days) as much as I can and still be a productive person in my household.

So Im uniformed?

Enlighten me please!

I agree with you, but I'm left wondering if any of your students have ever left your classroom knowing how to construct a reasoned argument. I'm sure the teachers at the High School(s) your students move on to could answer that question quite well... but would they. ;~D

I think that is just mindless talking points made by democrats. After all, it was not the GOP that decided that 'it is not the evidence, but the seriousness of the charges that warrant an investigation' in what amounted to just a witch hunt and politics at its dirtiest. I am not claiming the GOP is pure, but any one that claims the GOP is "more dirty" is just mouthing DNC talking points. Most of the ammunition the GOP uses comes from the Democrat primaries. And I dont think that is a conspiracy of the GOP (although I am sure Hillary would disagree).
