You know, though, there is one good thing about this spam-bot... I got to read some more of your stuff that I missed from before I joined JU and also got to reread some of the stuff I did read before... and I'm sure others got to see it also... and any chance for people to read your stuff more, is a good thing in my mind!

do you think there's a way i can prevent it ?. i figure it will stop soon. i can blacklist it, but it changes names so often that it just comes back as soon as i post. i'm sure that brad is aware of this stuff, so i'm just treating it as an inconvenience for now. but i do hope it stops soon. i really hate my blog being 'defiled' in this way !.

i just tried that raven. it's sound advice !. but i found i had to go into each article one by one, then go to 'edit', then change the setting manually to replies by 'registered users only'. i have over 300 articles now and it doesn't seem to have a logic to where it goes, so i would have sat there all night going into them one at a time. i'm making all my new posts 'registered users only', but i can't seem to find a way to make a 'blanket' change on the old ones. is there a way that anyone knows of ?. also, i clicked the 'username', and even though it is always different, it leads to the same poster. i have gotten the posters name now and manually blacklisted that, so i'll see if that works. thanks again for the very welcome advice, raven mig XX
