Well for once I get to report that the weekend was ad free for me, but then I have had them like Skinhit had when no one else has. Hmmm.  :NOTSURE:

They popped in and out for me just as they have been for the last couple months.

Less often recently though.

Have tried that several times over the weekend to no avail.

Shinhit have you tried it with Impulse or IE7 to see if it's not something with FF?  :NOTSURE:

Could it be something in Windows or Browser settings? I'm just guessing here, you probably know a lot more then me. ;)

I wouldn't think they would be intermittent on both browsers if it was a setting, but what do I know? :NOTSURE: Clearing things out does restore my ability to rate skins, however. I seem to lose that 1-2 times a week with IE7.The ads aren't that bad,it's those pesky green underlines! X-(

ads come and go for me. and yes I clean cache, cookies and do a regular cleanup. I have even tried doing the delete cookies created by forum at the bottom of page but still end up with ads, and I notice it seems to happen most often on weekends.
though it's irritating especially as I am a subscriber, I have learned to live with it.don't like it but live with it.

I was just seeing placeholders for what would be ads (since I block everything anyway), so I tried to log out and log back in (through the forums), but when I tried logging back in I kept getting this:

LOGIN FAILED: Your account has not been validated! Before you can logon using your account you must verify that you have a real email address. When you signed up for your account an email was sent to you with a link that you need to click on to validate your account. Once your account has been validated you will be able to logon.

If you no longer have this email click here to have a new validation email sent to you.

And then when I tried to get it resent (for the hell of it) got this:

ADODB.Recordset error '800a0e7d'
The connection cannot be used to perform this operation. It is either closed or invalid in this context.
/sdnet_login.asp, line 1138

I had to login from the home page to get it to work.
