Just a line to let those of you who may use my Vienna for Vista WB that you are using an inferior skin... I made Vienna for Vista when Vista first came out, was one of the first Vista skins.. and frankly.. its bad... from a completeness standpoint.

I've been busy the past few months on other projects for those of you who may have wondered why I haven't been submitting much...as far as new skins.

So, having a couple of days before I head off to Treasure Island, FL for a week of fun n' sun on one of the prettiest beaches in the country I thought I'd give the ol' wb a nice spit and polish as Vista is far more prominent now and I have a little spare time on my hands.

Look for the new flashy renovated version in the WB section soon....

Aw c'mon 'tain't that bad... so why not bite the bullet and install Vista before unca Bill sends around t' make sure that ya do. You never know, you might even get to like it after a while and wonder why all the resistance... and vStyler has gone all out to pretty it up, so there's no excuse now not to. ;p

Looks like two substyles will be in order... white menu's and black menus, WB is yet to be able to skin all menu's independently as far as text colors go, especially in Vista... then.. there's the Firefox issue... SO much for my quick update  X-( , anyway.. have to grab a couple of hours, back at it first thing in AM to get a jump on gettin it finished.

..better stay on it  :NOTSURE: , don't want Chuck Norris coming around and kicking me in the ass.  ;p

Hi, John... checked out Creative's forums and it seems other X-Fi users experienced similar issues as you with pre-packaged software not working in Vista> However, most found the more recent apps resolved their problems.
From what I can understand, some X-Fi units were manufactured prior to the release of Vista and therefore require updated drivers/software to function correctly under Vista. Dunno the status/age of your current software, but hopefully the updated software found here: WWW Link, will resolve your problems. :)
