You are referring to this exact theme(invader MyColors),or the Xenomorph Slim???You know that there's two download files,AlienGuise for XP and Vista on their web site...Perhaps there's something incompatible on my PC,cos this is an installation for Vista...

I installed MyColors in the ThemeManager\Themes folder, but i can not individually install the files,as there's nothing visible...
The "Themes"folder in MyColors is empty, peculiar stuff...

Just throw that silly installer to recycle bin, the only thing it succeed to do was to crash completly my PC :( ...

Well if he listed to the instructions by Darken on page 1 he could have found that he didn't need to install anything.  :SURPRISED:
And yes its a bit buggy if you already have MyColors installed since it's an alternate theme manager it seems to want to overwrite it.

Only the path is different on XP > C:\Users\Public\Documents\Stardock\ > Documents and Settings...

Is there a way to manually install this theme using Object Desktop in Vista x64? It seems MyColors is just a compact version of the full suite, that just happens to be incompatible with 64 bit Windows :(

I've been told that my OS will soon be supported by MyColors, however I need to get this theme running as soon as possible. It's urgent! And any help is greatly appreciated!

Oh yep, but as written on it http://img115.imageshack.us/img115/5981/alienxpwinrarad4.th.jpg it's the Alienguise_vista.exe which is for Vista  ;)

For XP you have to install Xenomorph_slim.exe, which is the one you can't open with winrar  ;)

Xenomorph_slim.exe > Download Universal Extractor

Works fine, thanks a lot  ;)

I presume WindowBlinds interferes with MyColors and applying the Alienvare Invader while WB is loaded wont work.
It is listed in the WB skins but when i apply it it doesnt do anything. When i attempt to delete the skin it say that you can not delete the current skin, but it isnt applied...
I have downloaded MyColors themes like San Antonio, where theres WB skin separately...Too bad this doesnt work like the Xenomorph Slim suite on XP...

MindMaestro, if you install the alienware with the .exe installer that's normal, it had always been crazy and crashing everything's linked with the running Stardock concerned products  :( (well at least for me and on XP)

If you want the skins to use, read up this thread and see how to uncompress the alienXXX.exe to extract the skins and to be ables to put them directly in the WB, IP and so folders  ;)

Thanks man,it certainly worths the try....

I have succeeded in my goal and that was obtaining the Alienware Invader icons... WB skin doesn't work, cos even in the WB folder, the images are all covered with gray dots and really unusable. It's fine with me,cos the WB theme isn't that extravagant as an Alien WB should be,but the icons are,in a lack of a better word...PERFECT...

Thanx for the vivid explenations and for the Universal Extractor...This is one ass kick software.Thanx again to stardock and it's artist.

I have no addictions in my life, except Stardock ;)
