I agree It has got varied strategies and requires more thought than rush rush, I am actually playing gciv 2 atm since I just bought but where sins is concerned theres a HUGE patch in the works so I am waiting until much of the balance changes are made. TEC by most of the articles writers I have read have said at this point TEC is the most balanced so the game will be better when EVERY faction is tweaked.
Windex whats your suggestion as to irms? (The guy is saying he likes the game no need to make a fool of him, start a complaints thread or something after all the devs are working on a patch . Like I have said TEC ships are like paper compared to other factions, people are just seeing more people playing them because they know the likes of advent are due to get a big nerf, target TEC as primary priority and you would have an even more imbalanced game, lets trust the devs is what I say)
I havent had a minidump yet but I know some do, I think they will fix that in the next patch since its one thing that absolutly must be fixed. I must admit I dont like the fact its P2P for MP irrespective of the justifications so hopefully they will look at the netcode but thats maybe asking too much I dont know. (Either way its not really helpful to let every thread degrade into balance issues disagreements)
Im hoping the patch is due in a good few weeks, hopefully the game doesnt get killed by peoples impatience. (Guess I can understand it from people having constant mini dumps - mods have said they think that will be addressed in like a sub patch prior to the big patch)

I like it as well but as you can see there is a good few things need fixing which btw the forum mods have recently re-assured us that its getting well worked on. Hopefully once the patch is out you will be able to get more games!
To avoid the thread changing from yourself asking for MP games into another lets nerf x,y,z thread or the alike, I would suggest join a clan, hopeful horizons is a good clan, they have a really easy going bunch of people, as someone else mentioned well I think some in the clan have various exams , if you join give me a shout and I will give you a game. Also where HH is concerned you get plenty of notice about games and I still need to improve in many aspects like the majority of players so we could help each others games. (On the site you can also see all members timezones so its easy for you to arrange times you know people will be on too play) This aspect relates to the thread because you have a much higher chance of having a reliable game where people wont DC and if they lose they surrender. Also if you are teamed with a clan member and lose they wont start giving you hassle or being funny, its all for fun after all!
As mentioned I am busy with gciv 2 but if you join HH give me a shout! The way things are currently and to answer your query I think you will have to join a clan, obviously it doesnt have to be HH , just any good clan however all I will finally say is that HH has a good balance of veteran players + players comming into the game , either way a clan should help immensely.(If you tell them you are finding it hard as hell to get a game Im sure someone will work something out)
